We are now into an interesting year during which we will experience much change in club, county and national golf brought about by amendments to the R&A Rules of Golf and to the CONGU Unified Handicapping System, together with the migration from ELGA to EWGA, the transition from national divisions to regions, and changes to County Finals' week.
Having had a great year of events in 2007 in Hampshire for all levels of golfer and the pleasure of many county, club and individual successes which gave Hampshire national representation at all levels from Juniors to Seniors, we are entering the coming season with much enthusiasm.  News and information will be on the website as soon as possible, and if anyone has any news for us please get in touch via the Contact Us menu.
A very happy year's golf to everyone in 2008.

ENGLISH ORDER OF MERIT
Congratulations to Liz Bennett (Brokenhurst Manor) on topping the Order of Merit and becoming England's top amateur lady golfer in 2008 - a superb achievement.  Kerry Smith (Waterlooville) finished the year in fourth place in the Order of Merit.  Another year's wonderful golf from the Hampshire's very best.
